Faulty Seat Belts Trigger Automobile Defects Suit

Posted under Uncategorized

Billy and Cecelia Hall were partially ejected from their vehicle when their 2006 Ford 150 rolled after a collision. The accident has left them with serious, disabling injuries. The couple claim that these injuries are a result of a seat belt defect that left them with no protection during the collision.

The couple claims the seat belts were dangerous and defective and are suing for product liability and negligence on the part of Ford Motor Company and the manufacturer of the seat belts, TRW Vehicle Safety System, Inc.

The Halls are suing for their injuries, medical costs, loss of earning capacitiy, and mental anguish. Billy Hall suffers cervical fractures and a serious brain injury. Cecelia Hall suffers a partial leg amputation.

Automobile accidents are always frightening, but when you can’t rely on your vehicle’s parts to work to protect you in a collision, you are left to suffer the full effects of a collision alone.
