Medical Malpractice Suit: Man Sues After Cataract Surgery

Charles Stroud is suing Dr. Joseph Goetz after a cataract surgery leaves Stroud partially blind in one eye. According to Stroud, he was told he needed cataract surgery by his doctor at the Singla Eye Institute in Port Arthur. He claims that the physician who performed the surgery, Dr. Goetz, left him partially blind in one eye.

Stroud claims that Goetz was negligent in properly operating on his eyes. He even states that Goetz’s actions “rose to the level of malice”.

Stroud is seeking damages for past and future physical pain and mental anguish.
