Steven Hicks got more than he bargined for when he bit into a piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken and discovered parts of the chicken’s head, neck, and spine. According to Hicks, he was snacking on the chicken that his fiance had purchased the previous day when the unexpected bones were found. Hicks states that after biting into the chicken he became ill and his illness caused him pain, suffering, and lost wages.
KFC is being sued for negligence and failing to properly inspecting their chicken before serving it to customers.
Hicks is suing for medical expenses, lost wages, and suffering. He seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
