Posted under Uncategorized

Melinda and Doug Taylor are suing Lowes Home Centers, Inc., after a box fell and injured Melinda. Mrs. Taylor was shopping at a Lowes location in South Charleston, NC, when a box from an overhead shelving unit fell and struck her in the head.

A Jane Doe has been named the defendant in the case. Mrs. Taylor claims that the negligent actions of the Jane Doe caused her injuries. Mrs. Taylor claims that Lowe’s failed to properly train their employees on how to stock merchandise during business hours.

The couple seeks damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, as well as compensatory and punitive damages.

It is the responsibility of companies to properly train employees and to ensure the safety of consumers while shopping in their stores. If you or a loved one have been injured due to the negligence of someone else, contact the Lake Geneva Personal Injury Lawyers at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ®
