Shop N’ Save Customer Sues Over Fall

Posted under Uncategorized

Pamela Campbell is suing Shop N’ Save Warehouse Foods, Super Valu Inc., and the currently unidentified store owner of the Shop N’ Save where she says she slipped on grease and seriously injured her ankle and wrist. In the suit, Campbell claims to have suffered a fractured and sprained ankle, tendonitis and bursitis of the achilles tendon, and carpal tunnel syndrome in her right wrist and arm when she slipped on grease spilled from another customer’s cart. She claims the store ought to have noticed and cleaned up the grease if they had exercised “ordinary care.”

Campbell is suing for damages in excess of $50,000, out of which approximately $32,500 are medical expenses.
