Rollover Injures Driver

Last weekend, a drunk driver rolled his vehicle, injuring himself. The man was driving eastbound on the wrong side of Highway 36 when he lost control and rolled over.

The driver was partially ejected and had to be taken to Burlington Memorial Hospital and then flown to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for his injuries. No one else was involved in the crash.

Waukesha Man Still At Large After Brazen Assault

In a cruel twist, a former battered women’s counselor has become a victim of the very crimes whose wounds she worked to heal.

Teresa, a 25 year-old resident of Waukesha, says she was in the hospital for an unrelated ailment when former boyfriend Michael Mack entered her room and began to beat her. Although the cried for help, by the time it arrived, Mack had already escaped. After the assault, Mack apparently went to Teresa’s house, took her three children from a previous relationship to their aunt’s house, and returned to burn all the belongings he could. As of this Monday, Mack is still at large.

Stranded Man Attacked

In Pleasant Prairie, a man was stranded on the side of the road after a minor accident. Another man pulled over, supposedly to help him, but instead attacked and robbed him.

The stranded man was found later, unresponsive on the side of the road. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital and is listed as being in critical condition.
