Two Wisconsin individuals injured in car accident

Two people were injured in a one-car accident Saturday. According to police reports, the accident occurred in the town of Egg Harbor.

The driver of a van apparently was making a turn when the van went off the road and into a ditch. As a result, the van hit a sign and then rolled over onto the driver’s side of the van. While two people were injured in the accident, none was taken to a hospital.

Wisconsin pilot injured in single-engine plane crash

A Wisconsin man was injured last week when his single-engine aircraft began to malfunction and crashed into a farm field.

The pilot was performing a routine flight when the plane began to experience engine trouble. The aircraft crash landed in a field and rolled over when the front landing gear buckled under the impact. The pilot was treated on the scene for minor injuries.

Two people injured in Amish buggy accident

Two people were injured in a buggy accident Friday. According to police reports, the accident occurred on U.S. Highway 60 at Diggins.

The buggy apparently tried to avoid an accident on the side of the road, but it was hit by another vehicle. After the buggy was struck, the other vehicle swerved off the highway and into an embankment.

Lake Geneva man receives award for saving man from burning car

A Lake Geneva man received an award for saving a man from a burning car in January. The rescue occurred on Edens Expressway. 

The man apparently was driving down the expressway when he saw the burning car. He pulled over and managed to break the window of the car. With the help of others, he reached into the car and pulled the man out.
