Former hockey player faces criminal charges, wrongful death lawsuit

Posted under Uncategorized

A former Regina hockey player is being sued in Wisconsin for the wrongful death of Bradley Simon. Simon's family is seeking financial compensation in the lawsuit for medical expenses, funeral costs, and pain and suffering due to the loss of their son.

In September, Jared Britton allegedly shoved Simon off of his bike during a dispute, which caused him to hit a nearby concrete wall. Simon died from his injuries.

In addition to the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Simon's family, Britton has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery for the alleged attack.

If you or someone you love has died and you believe that someone else is repsonsible, you may have legal grounds to sue for negligence to recover compensation.
