Beaded Curtains Recalled for Being Choking Hazards

Posted under Uncategorized

A recall of Circo-brand beaded curtains, sold at Target, has been issued after three serious instances of the curtains being choking hazards were reported.

One girl was nearly choked to death by her set of curtains after she walked through them, and they became entangled around her neck. The curtains also left severe cuts on another girl after wrapping around her neck, and lifted one girl off her feet by the neck. There have been no deaths caused by the curtains.

79,000 curtains have been recalled, and consumers have been warned by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to remove the curtains and ask for a refund from the curtains' manufacturer.
