Britax strollers recalled due to finger injury risks

Posted under Product Liability

The Huffinton Post revealed Friday, January 30, that Britax is recalling around 216,000 child strollers after the company found out the products pose risks of partially severed fingertips and severe lacerations, among other finger injuries.

The online report stated that Britax’s single and double strollers B-Agile, Agile Double, and BOB Motion can cause breaks, lacerations, and even amputations to consumer’s fingers once the release button is pushed while pulling the stroller’s release strap. The products were sold from May 2011 to June 2013 online and in different stores across the U.S., and were made available in different colors including sandstone, navy, and black.
