Tyson Foods recalls contaminated chicken nuggets

After receiving reports of oral injuries, U.S. food manufacturer, Tyson Foods announced a voluntary recall of 75,320 pounds of chicken sold at Sam’s Club. The injuries were related to small plastic pieces present in the meat.

According to the report, the recall affects the 5-lb “Tyson Fully Cooked White Meat Chicken Nuggets – 16142-928” sold at Sam’s Clubs across the country. The manufacturer codes on the packages are 0264SDL0315 to 19 and 0474SDL0311 to 14. Affected products also have a best by date of Jan 26 2015 or Feb 16 2015.
