Young girl killed in auto accident in Greendale

A 5-year-old girl was killed in a traffic accident last week. According to police reports the accident occurred in Greendale. 

The girl was walking with her mother when they were hit by a car. The mother was also injured the accident. Investigators are still investigating the cause of the accident.

A man was killed in a car accident last week. According to police reports, the man was driving a 1995 Ford when his car ran into a tree. 

When medical officials arrived to the scene, the man was pronounced dead by medical officials. Police officials suspected that the man swerved off the road and struck the tree.

Tree Kills Worker

Three men were cutting down a tree Friday morning when a strange accident occurred. Two of the men were on the ground, and another was harnessed 42 feet up in the tree when it became unstable and fell.

The two men on the ground were able to get out of the way, but the one harnessed in the tree fell to the ground and sustained fatal traumatic injuries. An autopsy is pending.

Lawsuit Filed after Four Deaths at Landfill

The widow of a man who died in a landfill accident in Superior has filed a lawsuit against the construction company in charge. The lawsuit calls J Kimmes Construction negligent for failing to provide a safe work environment.

On November 1, 2007, the man was knocked unconscious by hydrogen sulfide gas in a confined space. He then fell into a water filled pit. Three other men shared the same fate as they tried one by one to offer assistance.
